        On behalf of the Secretariat of the World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) and the Association of Chinese-European Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACEIE), I am delighted to extend to you a cordial invitation to attend the World Young Scientist Summit 2023 European Event. The event will take place on October 18th, 2023 at the Tangla Hotel Brussels, Belgium (Avenue E. Mounier 5, 1200 Brussels).

        Following the successful WYSS 2022 European Event held in Brussels, the WYSS 2023 European Event promises to be an engaging and inspiring gathering, featuring a series of activities such as keynote speeches, plenary sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and project roadshows. All these activities will revolve around the theme of "Innovation and Cooperation for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Progress". The event will host four parallel sessions dedicated to key topics including "University in Innovation Ecosystem", "Youth Innovation Showcase", "Women at the Forefront of Innovation", and "Emerging Science and Technology".

        The UN SDGs provide a blueprint for a fair, beautiful, and sustainable world. Innovation plays a crucial role in achieving these goals, and the young generation of scientists, researchers, and engineers holds tremendous potential to drive progress. The World Young Scientist Summit, organized by the China Association for Science and Technology and the People's Government of Zhejiang, has successfully convened in previous years, since 2019, to facilitate exchanges, cooperation, and the realization of aspirations among young scientists. It is worth noting that the UN Secretary-General António Guterres has sent, in 2020, special congratulatory letters to all participants, underscoring the significance the UN places on youth in shaping the future.
